We’ve known we wanted to see the world for a long time. In 1977, we backpacked through Europe and we realized how much more there was to discover. Over the years, we toyed with the idea of a month or 6 week trip here and there – and we did take some wonderful vacations – but the years piled up.
Now, 3 kids, a house, several jobs, and 37 years later… we’re finally ready!
We are going to use this blog to document our trip, not just for our own memories, but for the many loved ones we have back in the states. We hope you can follow our travels and share in our adventure with us as we explore!

Yep! Bobby and partners sold the business in 2014 and I just quit my job in December…we want to see as much of the world as we can while we can!
